ZT Agency requires all represented talent to have professional quality actor headshots. We do not require any actors to shoot with a specific photographer, but absolutely reserve the right to refuse to use photos that do not meet our professional standard.
There are different types of headshots, and even a professional photographer with a very expensive equipment can take photos that do not meet quality standards for an Actor’s headshots, if they do not regularly shoot this type of photo. Corporate headshots and Portraits are very different than actors headshots.
If you are shooting to update your photos with ZT Agency, or intend on applying to ZT Agency with these shots, please read this post before you shoot: https://ztagency.com/why-commercial-headshots/

As an actor, you will likely need a combination of Commercial and Theatrical headshots for your agent to use for submissions. This means 2-4 final photos are all that are needed from a shoot. Getting a large number of final images that all just have slight variations from each other has very little value to an agent. We can generally only submit ONE photo for any particular project.
