Hello Zuri Model and Talent Agency Talent! In discussions with Mariam, your agent at Zuri in Portland, ZT Agency has agreed to unconditionally accept all talent who have received a link to this page. You can be immediately added onto the ZT Agency roster to continue your acting and modeling journey seamlessly. Our goal is to make the transition as quick and easy as possible, so you don’t miss anything in this crazy world of modeling and On Camera talent. Mariam was a great agent, who cares a lot about you, and ZT is going to continue that tradition.
My name is Bob Tomazic, and I’m the owner and lead agent at ZT Agency. ZT Agency is actually based in Seattle, and relatively new as a company, but I have been an agent in the Seattle & Portland markets for 10+ years. I’ve represented Portland based talent for years, and have great relationships with Portland based casting directors including, Cast Iron, Simon Max Hill, Weeble Mountain, and Lori Lewis. We are absolutely committed to getting you in front of them for the most local work to you, but also excited to expand your opportunities into the vast Seattle commercial market… if you are willing to travel a bit for a shoot. Even two years ago, driving from PDX to SEA for an audition, possibly a callback, and then finally booking was a huge amount of time commitment, but today, with 100% of casting done by self tape and Zoom, you would only have to get in the car if you knew you had a paid gig booked. Even before Zuri, ZT represented talent from Vancouver, BC to Eugene, OR, and we’re thrilled to add new faces to the mix.
Some basics of operations at ZT:
- You should already have professional headshots, but if they are over a year old, you should get new ones soon. Sooner for children. See here for recommended photographers in Seattle & Portland (same as Zuri recommended)
- We do not charge any additional fees for anything. Just a commission on jobs booked through ZT Agency.
- We encourage all of our talent to self-submit and book their own work, and we do not expect a commission on jobs that we do not book for you.
- We encourage all of our talent to train and grow their skills. Professional training and experience is extremely important to be successful in our industry. Here is a list of coaches and studios that we recommend.
- Our standard commission is 20% on all non-union work booked through ZT.
- We do NOT currently have a contract that needs to be signed. There is no “locked in” term for representation. Think of it like a month-to-month lease. 😉
If you have other questions, we are happy to chat more, but it may take significant time to get there (see below). Our recommendation is to get your profiles transferred immediately, and we can work out the details as we go. Again, there is no contract, so you can always leave if you decide to.
To make this transfer as fast and easy as possible, we are offering unconditional and immediate representation for all those currently represented by Zuri in Portland, BUT the agency transfer is something that you have to do yourself. ZT Agency will represent you, and begin submitting you IMMEDIATELY for work in Seattle as soon as you have transferred your Casting Networks profile. Mariam will continue to submit you to Portland work through Casting Frontier until May 28th.

LAST, but very important, I do want to meet you and get to know who you are, and what your acting goals are, but with an entire agency transferring at one time, it is going to take me far far longer to meet each of you than it will to start submitting you for work. We at ZT are already very busy with ongoing work in both markets, so I’ll only be able to connect with a few people each day. Please fill out the form below, so I have some basic information about you now, and I will be reaching out to every single person that transfers… eventually. It may take me weeks, possibly months to connect with you, but I promise that I will. The worst thing that we could do would be to miss submitting on or following through with current work for those already on our team, to focus on meeting too many new people too fast.
